The city of Venice reflects his image in the water and offers astonishing landscapes to the visitors. Tourists, even if just passing, are captured from the beauty of monuments and works of art.
Piazza San Marco, vibrant centre of the town and important urban and architectural building, has the same name of the famous Basilica San Marco. This monument was built with oriental features and with five Byzantine cupolas. The wide surface of the square is surrounded on one side from the lagoon and on the others from the Bell Tower and the impressive historical buildings Procuratie Vecchie and Palazzo Ducale.
